I'm a part 1A Physical Natural Sciences student at Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge studying the Maths B, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science options. My academic time is split roughly equally between these four subject areas: roughly two one-hour lectures per day Monday to Saturday inclusive and additional practical laboratory sessions two or three times a week.

I'm also quite involved in the student theatre scene in Cambridge as a technician and spend lots of my time at the ADC Theatre with the CUADC or CUMTS. My primary area of interest is in sound design and sound mixing, especially for musical theatre, however I also have a keen interest in electrics, lighting design, rigging and technical direction. I recently attended the Cambridge University European Theatre Group's 2015 European tour of Twelfth Night as a technician specialising in sound; you can read more here.

I am (was) an enthusiastic amateur musician and play the trumpet and piano. I used to play for the Concert Band at my old school, The Bishop's Stortford High School, however with my other comittments and due to the increased level of difficulty I haven't yet found an opportunity to perform or play at university yet. I was the keyboard player and technician in a 10-piece folk band which I formed with my friends, 27 Strings.

I hold a UK amateur radio license to the advanced level (callsign M0ZCJ, ex 2E0ZCJ) which is a CEPT equivalent licence class of 1. I am an active member of the Cambridge University Wireless Society which can be heard on the air under its club callsign as G6UW. You can read more about my RF activities here.
